British Investigators jet in Sierra Leone to investigate cocaine deal | Standard Times Press

The container according to investigation carried out at the National Shipping Agency was loaded msc cargo in South America en-route to Freetown port- Sierra Leone where it would be reloaded in another vessel t for the American or European market.
As it has now been established that the true identity of the consignee was fake, investigators are examining various investigative strategies to unearth the true picture of the consignee and nail him for good. A team of British investigators has reportedly landed on the soil of Sierra Leone to give teeth and flesh to the investigation. Already, tips have started coming in to the investigators, which would lead them to grasp the true identity of the consignee, who is believed to be a foreigner using the Sierra Leone Port as a transit point for his illegal trade. This is not the first time that this foreign national has been using the Freetown Port as a transit point for his goods a member of the investigative team echoed.
It is reported that tracking of the container was initiated when the ship left the South American harbour for Sierra Leone where she made her initial discharge.
